Shipping Policy

FLAT RATE SHIPPING 

We deliver to all U.S. States except for Alaska, Hawaii and U.S.territories.

 During Spring 2024 we are offering flat rate shipping for $179. 

Note: the freight fee is based on a single item added to your cart. Adding multiple items may increase the shipping fee up to a maximum of $299. 

Important Delivery Information: 

  • In stock products will be dispatched within 3 business days of payment clearance.
  • Shipping time for in stock items (not made to order) is approximately 16-21 business days from dispatch. We will do our best to adhere to this timeframe, however times are not guaranteed. 
  • We will send a DHL tracking number upon dispatch. 
  • All pieces will be delivered via a DHL delivery partner who is local to your area. For these shipments, you can expect a call 1-2 days prior to schedule a delivery date and time that works best for you, within the partner’s operating hours. 
  • Corcovado Design is not able to hold items beyond 3 business days if a delivery has not been scheduled with you. After this period, you will be responsible for any storage fees incurred. 
  • An adult (18 years or older) must be present with authority to provide a signature at the time of delivery for these shipments. 
  • Items can only be delivered to the original shipping address noted at checkout online. 
  • None of our pieces are deemed “larger furniture pieces” and will be delivered to your door. 
  • Any issues with delivery should be referred to DHL (contact information will be included on Tracking information) as a first step, however we are here to help if needed. Email us here:  support@corcovadodesign.com. 

A comprehensive delivery guide will be sent to you after your purchase to aid a smooth process. 

Address and Contact Details

Items can only be delivered to the original shipping address noted at checkout online.

We will not be liable for any delay or failure to deliver an item due to incorrect address or contact information provided by you or incorrectly typed by you during checkout online.

To ensure a smooth delivery experience, please make sure the email address and phone number you have provided at checkout is active and monitored by you, so that your local delivery agent can arrange a convenient delivery time with you. A reminder that Corcovado Design is not able to hold items beyond 3 business days if a delivery has not been scheduled with you. After this period, you will be responsible for any storage fees incurred.

DAMAGE DURING SHIPMENT 

As part of your purchase, your item is covered by our insurance up to the point of receipt by you. 

It is important that you or your authorized representative be at the address attached to your order to receive the delivery.  Be prepared to open cartons and inspect your furniture in the presence of the driver. If there is damage, it must be noted by you on the delivery slip. If the damage is severe, do not accept, take photos of the damage and call Corcovado Design immediately. If delivery is signed for and accepted by you and damage is found later, due to the freight companies policies, Corcovado Design can no longer be responsible. It is then the responsibility of the customer to file a claim with the freight company. 

In the event shipping damage does occur, in addition to noting it on the delivery slip and taking photos of the damage, call Corcovado Design immediately at 800.251.8124 or email us at support@corcovadodesign.com.

We will file a claim with the freight company and the item/items will, at the discretion of the manufacturer, be repaired or replaced. Be sure you retain all original packing material in the event the freight company needs to send a representative to inspect the damage. 

Any damage or loss occurring to items beyond the specified timeframe is not the responsibility of Corcovado Design. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation regarding our delivery policy. All furniture sales are final.
